Job Summary
Create energy and foster a productive sales floor environment by delivering premium personalized customer service through expert product education and gait analysis. Serve as the primary point person for resolving customer escalations and operational issues when management is absent, while delegating tasks to maintain a clean, efficient, and visually strong store. Perform keyholder duties including opening and closing the store, assist with merchandising, receiving, stocking, and cashiering, and support store events or offsite activations. Train and coach staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and store operations to elevate overall store performance. Work 30+ hours per week including evenings and weekends, demonstrating regular attendance and dependable engagement as a front-line brand ambassador.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work 30+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company and with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication
- Comfort interacting with a wide range of customers—from brand‐new runners to elite athletes to corporate visitors
- Keen attention to detail in executing tasks while understanding broader store and business needs

Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of premium retail experience with strong sales and service background preferred
- Keyholder experience strongly preferred
- Moderate computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn POS and other retail systems
- Strong POS accuracy and inventory‐counting abilities; basic retail math preferred
- Passionate participation in Brooks' sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community
