Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging shoppers, maintaining a clean backroom, and rotating stock for easy replenishment. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans. Communicate effectively with management on duty to address priorities and provide progress updates while promoting safety awareness and compliance with labor laws.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
