Job Summary
Demonstrate product knowledge to customers, assist with in-store and phone requests, and greet guests in a friendly manner. Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, complete transactions at the cash register including payments and receipts, and tag prices on merchandise. Contribute to the team's daily sales goals while ensuring a professional appearance. This part-time role in La Puente, CA offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.90-$18.00. We are Work World, the largest specialty retailer of workwear and boots in the Western U.S., operating 30+ stores across California, Nevada, and Washington.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general degree (GED)
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Excellent verbal communication
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
- Bi-Lingual a plus
