Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Wild Bill's Tobacco: provide excellent customer service, greet customers, answer phones, assess needs, build customer relationships, and promote products to meet or exceed sales goals. Gain product knowledge to become the store expert, participate in marketing efforts to grow brand presence inside and outside the store, assist with cash handling, inventory, deposits, and store operations, maintain a clean, well-stocked store, and support opening/closing procedures. Must be able to stand for 4- to 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel within a 15-mile radius for shift coverage. Emphasis on professional, energetic attitude and strong written/verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience in retail environments and customer service
- Professional, energetic and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with cash handling and basic store operations
- Ability to work 4- to 12-hour shifts
- Ability to travel local area up to 15 miles for shift coverage
- Ability to maintain store appearance and stock levels
