Job Summary
Greet customers, answer phones, and assess needs while resolving inquiries and suggesting products to meet or exceed sales goals. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store by ensuring proper inventory, completing accurate paperwork, and managing opening and closing procedures including cash handling and alarm settings. Assist with all retail functions, stock rotation, and marketing efforts to solicit new business within the store and community. Work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor, with the ability to travel within a 15-mile radius for coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience in retail environments and customer service
- Professional, energetic and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Ability to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage
- Must be able to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor
- Must be able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
