Job Summary
Greet customers, answer phones, and assess needs in a positive manner while resolving inquiries and concerns. Create relationships to suggest products and meet or exceed sales goals by participating in marketing efforts to solicit new business. Assist with all store functions in compliance with policies, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits. Maintain a clean, well-stocked environment by ensuring proper store appearance, back room, and restroom upkeep. Complete accurate paperwork and transactions while lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks like bending and squatting. Travel within a 15-mile radius for shift coverage and work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience in retail environments and customer service
- Professional, energetic and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Ability to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage
- Must be able to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor
- Must be able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
