Job Summary
Full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate responsible for generating retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll learn and uncover customers’ needs, position product insights and solution recommendations, close sales, and contribute to merchandising and inventory. Opportunities include outbound outreach to current customers, off-site Verizon events, and a commission program with potential total earnings of $65,000+ to $75,500+ annually, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, tuition assistance, paid time off, parental leave, and employee discounts. Requires HS diploma/GED and 1+ year of relevant experience; must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with commissions up to $18,000 per year based on sales goals. Location: Lake Zurich, IL (on-site worksite).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience required (work experience and/or military experience)
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods
- Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus
- Demonstrated sales experience or customer service experience would be beneficial
