Job Summary
Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored pet product solutions, and operate the cash register for a friendly checkout experience. Unload shipments and stock shelves, including heavy lifting up to 35 pounds, while maintaining the store through regular cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and managing pet messes. Participate in daily training and educational programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills, ensuring you stay up-to-date on new offerings and promotions. This role requires consistent attendance, flexibility for weekends and holidays, and the ability to climb ladders and perform repetitive motions throughout shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 35 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules
- Ability to climb and balance using a ladder and/or step stool
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, stretch and engage in repetitive motions throughout shift
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
