Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Verizon in a defined onsite store location, responsible for generating retail sales through customer service, identifying customer needs, recommending product insights and solutions, closing sales, and supporting ongoing training in merchandising and inventory. The role includes potential for outbound communications to current customers, engagement with the community, and participation in a commission program with the potential to significantly increase earnings beyond base pay. Bilingual Spanish speakers in eligible locations may receive additional annual compensation after language assessment. This is a full-time, onsite position with a typical schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a base pay range of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus commissions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience (work experience and/or military experience)
- Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance)
- Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak periods
- Experience in commission-based environment (nice to have)
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
- Customer service experience
