Job Summary
Proactively engage with customers to recommend tailored pet product solutions and build lasting relationships. Operate the cash register efficiently, unload shipments, and stock shelves while handling heavy lifting up to 35 pounds. Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and managing pet messes as needed. Participate in daily training and educational programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, move and carry up to 35 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules
- Ability to climb and balance using a ladder and/or step stool
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, stretch and engage in repetitive motions throughout shift
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
