Job Summary
Greet customers, understand their needs, and educate them on product features using the GUEST service model. Transact sales through suggestive selling, correct measurements, and effective closing while maintaining a neat, organized floor. Solve customer problems, monitor merchandise for shrinkage, and ensure all items are properly labeled and price marked. Follow safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and timely reporting of accidents. This part-time role in Pleasant Prairie, WI, requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Base pay ranges from $11.90 to $17.85 hourly. Candidates must be 18 or older with strong communication skills and familiarity with cash registers.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Past retail experience
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment
- Ability to lift 4 lbs. frequently
- Ability to lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to kneel or squat frequently
- Ability to move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders occasionally
- Ability to climb and descend stairs frequently
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cash register functions
- Ability to quickly perform basic math
