Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Boscov’s PT responsible for building customer rapport, meeting customer needs, closing sales, promoting products, and maintaining the selling floor. Responsibilities include greeting and acknowledging customers, maintaining product knowledge, processing transactions and paperwork, opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to achieve company goals, stocking and replenishing merchandise, and providing excellent customer service to drive sales. Requires ability to engage customers, strong communication, basic math, and availability for varied days and hours.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
