Job Summary
Conduct daily retail sales duties by engaging guests in thoughtful conversations, making product recommendations, and processing transactions at the point of sale accurately. Maintain store cleanliness, manage inventory through receiving, stocking, rotating, facing, and cycle counts, and execute creative merchandising displays. Handle cash with competence and utilize computer systems for accurate guest service. Participate in store and company meetings, including those before or after hours, while ensuring all tasks meet the needs of pets and their owners.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds, can bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb a ladder
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Highly accountable and has integrity
- Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends
