Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, build genuine connections, and offer personalized product advice to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Handle cash transactions, check IDs, and process sales while meeting daily targets through upselling and highlighting deals. Maintain store standards by keeping the sales floor clean, restocking inventory, and fulfilling online orders. Work closely with the team to resolve concerns, encourage loyalty sign-ups, and adapt to a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role
- A minimum of 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately
- The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to handling customer concerns
- Basic proficiency in math and computer applications
- A positive, proactive mindset when resolving customer issues
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Initiative and a team-first attitude
- A natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to working well within a team environment
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time
