Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, offer personalized product advice, and resolve concerns to drive loyalty and sales. Process transactions accurately, check IDs, and handle cash while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory levels. Meet daily sales goals through upselling and highlight promotions at checkout. Support store operations by opening and closing shifts, fulfilling online orders, and taking on extra duties as needed. Work weekends and closing shifts in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role
- A minimum of 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately
- The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to handling customer concerns
- Basic proficiency in math and computer applications
- A positive, proactive mindset when resolving customer issues
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Initiative and a team-first attitude
- A natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to working well within a team environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, talk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
