Job Summary
Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Build strong connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice while addressing concerns with professionalism. Handle cash, check IDs, and process transactions accurately at the register, consistently meeting daily sales goals through upselling and highlighting deals. Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked, supporting inventory tasks like restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products. Help open and close the store and take on extra duties as needed to support the team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role
- A minimum of 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately
- The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to handling customer concerns
- Basic proficiency in math and computer applications
- A positive, proactive mindset when resolving customer issues
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Initiative and a team-first attitude
- A natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships

- The ability to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

- Availability on weekends strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
