Job Summary
Greet customers and deliver a welcoming, informative shopping experience for cannabis products; assist guests with product recommendations, upsell and promote promotions, process transactions at the register, verify IDs, and maintain store standards and inventory. Collaborate with team to ensure an inclusive, accurate, and compliant retail environment while meeting daily sales goals and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a customer-facing or sales role
- 6 months experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven retail environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools
- Positive, proactive mindset for customer issue resolution
- Allergen awareness and ability to work in a retail environment
- Basic math and computer applications proficiency
