Job Summary
Part-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate at pawn store locations nationwide. Greets and engages customers; processes sales and loans; handles cash and negotiables; maintains sales floor and displays; communicates about pawn/legal transaction aspects; collaborates with staff to deliver positive customer experiences; requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multi-task in a dynamic retail environment, operate POS systems, and, for locations with firearms, become firearms certified. Offers commission on top of hourly base, earned wage access, employee discounts, and 401(k) participation; high school diploma or equivalent required; flexible schedule including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended periods including standing, walking, and handling tasks
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Computer literate; POS systems experience
- Bilingual applicants encouraged
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Ability to learn and comply with policies for pawn and buy transactions
- Firearms handling and to become firearms certified (FFL locations)
