Job Summary
Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate in pawn store locations nationwide. Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions; process sales, loans, and other transactions; handle cash and negotiable items; explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions; maintain displays and assist customers with a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (in FFL locations). This role offers an hourly base rate plus commission (2-8% based on personal gross profit) and benefits such as Earned Wage Access, employee discounts, and 401(k) after probation. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate POS systems; High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience; firearms certification ability; willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended periods including standing, walking, bending, lifting
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual applicants encouraged
- Must be able to work in multiple locations as needed
