Job Summary
Build and maintain strong, personalized relationships with customers while offering tailored product recommendations across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances. Drive sales through effective communication of product benefits and promotions, and assist in stock management to ensure product availability. Conduct product demonstrations, provide application tips, and occasionally lead in-store beauty workshops to share expertise. Collect customer feedback on products and services to provide insights for continuous improvement. Full-time role at Mount Pleasant Towne Center with flexible availability including weekends and evenings. Commission and bonus opportunities available. High school diploma or equivalent required; beauty certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail, preferably in the beauty industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for beauty and staying updated with the latest trends and products
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of direct experience
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department
- Prolonged exposure to fragrance and home fragrance products
- Frequent use of computers, handheld electronic equipment and cash registers
- Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25lbs
