Job Summary
Welcome patrons, answer inquiries, and process sales efficiently while maintaining gift shop and vending machine inventory. Manage cash registers, reconcile deposits, and complete monthly stock counts with attention to detail. Restock shelves, price items, and maintain cleanliness in work areas. Address accessibility needs and resolve patron concerns with the supervisor. Work independently to complete departmental tasks while collaborating with team members. Requires high school diploma, one year of retail experience, and proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- One year of experience in similar retail work environment
- Ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding all aspects of retail including sales, customer service priority, theft prevention, stock movement and merchandising
- Analytical ability and strong knowledge of system analysis and data gathering techniques
- Ability to work independently towards specific goals and objectives and provide recommendations for improvement
- Proficient computing skills including MS Office Products
- High-level of accuracy and attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to attend to competing priorities in an effective and timely way and prioritize effectively in team environment
