Job Summary
Retail Selling Colleague focused on delivering personalized customer experiences and achieving selling goals. Responsibilities include greeting customers, building relationships, understanding needs, offering product recommendations, maintaining a clean and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms, updating pricing and signs, supporting merchandise moves, and promoting Macy's Loyalty benefits. Collaboration with teammates to meet daily sales targets, stay informed about new arrivals and promotions, and communicate store policies in English. This role goes beyond cashier duties, emphasizing hospitality, product knowledge, and a proactive approach to store operations. The position requires flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and a customer-centric mindset to drive engagement and loyalty across in-store interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Meeting daily sales goal challenges

- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities
- You can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
- You can handle electronic devices with no problem
- Essential Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods; lifting at least 25 lbs; ability to reach and move around the sales floor
