Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Hatchet Hardware responsible for stocking and maintaining departments, unloading trucks, assisting customers, applying promotions, handling special orders, and supporting store operations. Role requires customer-service excellence, teamwork, product knowledge, and basic POS/technical skills. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and flexible availability, including weekends/holidays. Training on POS, paint mixing, glass cutting, propane refills, key cutting, and inventory control will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including weekends and/or holidays
- Able to read, interpret, and follow instructional documents
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge/experience in various departments strongly desired
- Regular attendance
