Job Summary
Gun Counter Associate at North 40 Outfitters provides outstanding customer service, drives sales, assists customers with firearms-related products (firearms, scopes, ammo, reloading), stocks and merchandises the gun counter, maintains a clean department, and protects company assets. The role requires knowledge of firearms, ability to educate customers on brands, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina for lifting and standing. Candidates should be able to work variable shifts Mon-Sat 7 am–7 pm and Sundays 9 am–5 pm, be comfortable around firearms, and meet age requirements. Required Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of firearms, shooting, scopes, ammo, reloading, and accessories required
- Must be 21+ years of age to work around firearms
- Ability to educate and assist customers on the brandsNorth 40 sells
- General knowledge of sporting goods helpful
- Previous merchandising experience is helpful
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
