Job Summary
Greet every customer with a warm, friendly welcome and provide fast, efficient service while using suggestive selling techniques to promote merchandise programs. Scan all merchandise, process payments including fuel dispensing instructions, make change, and adhere to strict cash handling and age verification procedures. Replenish products, complete housekeeping duties, and perform specific tasks assigned by the Store Manager while maintaining a neat appearance. Work in a fast-paced environment, standing and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and report any accidents immediately. Must work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, pass a background check, and demonstrate honesty, efficiency, and dependability.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to explain how to dispense fuel into a vehicle and/or approved container
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to add and subtract in order to make change, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-in
- Displays outstanding work ethics at all times in the areas of honesty, efficiency, professionalism and dependability
- Displays punctuality and a neat appearance
- Must be able to work all shifts as requested
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must pass the background check and drug free workplace requirements
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- This position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to perform tasks in all areas of the store which may include exposure to the cold while working in the cooler/freezer and while maintaining the parking lot and exterior of the store's perimeter
