Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, primarily assisting in the store with customer service, stocking donated goods, processing sales at the POS, and promoting the Roundup program. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions accurately, stocking and organizing merchandise, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, adhering to uniform policy and nametag requirements, and being flexible with scheduling and locations. Requires open availability and ability to pass background checks and alcohol/drug screenings; minimal travel may occur for training or other locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass alcohol/drug screenings and criminal background check
- Open availability
- Ability to transfer to other working locations as directed by management
- Basic math skills and cash handling
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with POS system and cash handling (scanning barcodes)
