Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate for Golf at DICK’S Sporting Goods. Greet and proactively assist customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience. Uphold merchandising and presentation standards, follow floor sets and signage guidelines, manage inventory presentation and replenishment, and promote company programs (loyalty participation, warranty sales, credit card enrollment). Maintain safety and loss-prevention procedures and confidentiality of company information. Create an inclusive store environment and support the team across the store, performing other tasks as assigned by management. Requires ability to stand and lift up to 15-35 lbs occasionally and to work extended periods on feet. Prior retail and Golf experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Golf industry experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
