Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate for golf at Dick's Sporting Goods delivers a hassle-free shopping experience through enthusiastic customer service, depth of product knowledge, and adherence to brand and execution standards. You’ll participate in merchandise sets, replenishment, recovery, pricing and signing, and promote programs such as the loyalty program and private-label credit card enrollment. You’ll follow safety policies, loss prevention guidelines, and standard operating procedures while supporting teammates across departments and contributing to a positive, energetic store culture. The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
- Golf industry experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
