Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate Golf at DICK’S Sporting Goods focuses on greeting and proactively assisting customers to understand their needs and enhance their shopping experience. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandising and presentation standards (floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment), promoting company programs (customer loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment), adhering to safety and loss-prevention policies, creating an inclusive store environment, supporting the team across the store, and performing additional tasks as assigned. Key skills include product knowledge, customer service, teamwork, accountability, collaboration, and decision-quality. Golf industry and prior retail experience preferred; candidates should be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 15-35 lbs occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Golf industry experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
