Job Summary
Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs, offering personalized recommendations and utilizing technology to complete orders and support device shopping. Demonstrate superior product knowledge to build sales, minimize returns, and convert exchanges while maintaining contact through pre- and post-delivery processes. Participate in ongoing product training, adhere to asset protection and inventory control procedures, and solve customer-focused issues like expediting delivery resolutions. This full-time role requires 30+ hours weekly, flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods. You will also sell protection plans, promote the loyalty program, and ensure high-level customer service in our Furniture areas.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to share information with diverse groups of customers and colleagues
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
- Ability to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Ability to reach above eye level
- Color vision
- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
