Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service in Macy’s Furniture areas as a Furniture Sales Colleague (Big Ticket Colleague), meeting sales goals, selling protection plans, promoting the loyalty program, and managing returns. Demonstrate product knowledge to educate customers, encourage exchanges, coordinate deliveries, and assist customers through the pre- and post-delivery process. Engage customers with personalized recommendations, utilize technology to complete orders, participate in product knowledge training, uphold Asset Protection and inventory control procedures, and foster an inclusive, respectful shopping environment. Requires 1-2 years of related experience and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related experience required
- Essential physical requirements: lifting at least 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, frequent movement and ability to use technology and POS systems
