Job Summary
Engage with customers to understand furniture needs, offer personalized recommendations, and utilize technology to complete orders while maintaining high-level service through problem-solving and delivery support. Demonstrate superior product knowledge to build sales, minimize returns, and promote the loyalty program. Participate in ongoing product training and adhere to asset protection and inventory control procedures. Maintain contact with customers through the pre- and post-delivery process to ensure a positive experience. Requires flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a background of 1-2 years in related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to share information with diverse groups of customers and colleagues
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
- Ability to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Ability to reach above eye level
- Color vision
- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
