• •Must be able to perform sales and cash functions in the POS
• •Must be able to scan merchandise
• •Must be able to utilize a handheld scan gun or 10 keypad
• •Must be able to weigh product on countertop scales
• •Must be able to look up any product that will not scan
• •Must be able to ensure that each item's barcode is accurately reflected in the system
• •Must be able to report any discrepancies to Front End Lead or Manager of Day (MOD)
• •Must be able to perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout
• •Must be able to perform a visual inspection to look for product tampering
• •Must be able to perform duties as receipt checker
• •Must be able to verify cart content vs. purchases
• •Must be able to perform store opening and/or closing functions at the front end
• •Must be able to ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage
• •Must be able to work with customers to ensure they find the products they need
• •Must be able to assist in receiving inventory shipments
• •Must be able to maintain and stock shelves in a neat and orderly fashion
• •Must be able to ensure proper rotation and product quality audits
• •Must be able to report any low stock levels to store management
• •Must be able to ensure all merchandise is properly labeled
• •Must be able to blaster tag unscannable merchandise
• •Must be able to apply catch weight labels to all merchandise sold by the pound
• •Must be able to affix plu tags to produce items
• •Must be able to replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight from top stock
• •Must be able to ensure that the oldest product is brought down first and stocked in accordance with FIFO
• •Must be able to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• •Must be able to utilize proprietary software
• •Must be able to ensure all products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available
• •Must be able to assist with price changes as directed by the Pricing Lead and Store Management
• •Must be able to assist in the opening and closing duties of the store
• •Must be able to participate in the inventory and cycle count process
• •Must be able to ensure that the facility is well maintained
• •Must be able to follow safety policies and practices
• •Must be able to notify store management of any safety issues in the store
• •Must be able to correct safety issues if possible
• •Must be able to ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor, front end, and restrooms
• •Must be able to utilize cleaning equipment
• •Must be able to ensure the cleanliness of the parking lot and store entry area
• •Must be able to gather carts from the parking lot and cart corrals
• •Must be able to bring carts back to the designated area
• •Must be able to ensure all carts are clean and operable
• •Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service
• •Must be able to provide each customer with fast, easy, efficient, and professional service
• •Must demonstrate good, solid common sense
