Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge customers, provide accurate product information, and close sales while maintaining professional rapport. Sell merchandise, manage the selling floor appearance, and process transactions using the POS register. Perform stock duties including receiving, folding, and replenishing advertised items. Complete marketing activities such as opening new charge accounts to meet company goals. Adhere to all policies and procedures while ensuring efficient service. Prior retail or customer service experience and strong communication skills are preferred. Available to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
