Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge customers, provide accurate product information, and close sales while maintaining professional rapport. Sell merchandise and uphold company standards by managing the selling floor appearance, processing transactions, and adhering to all policies. Perform marketing activities such as opening new charge accounts and maintain stock by assisting in receiving, folding, and replenishing merchandise. Requires prior retail or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with a POS register. Available to work varied days and hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
