Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate responsibilities include building customer rapport, providing accurate information, and promoting products through successful sales. You will maintain the selling floor appearance, process transactions, assist with stock replenishment, and participate in marketing activities such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to achieve company goals. Requires ability to engage customers, sell merchandise, and deliver excellent customer service; prior retail or customer service experience, strong communication skills, basic math, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Starting wage is $16.15 per hour; comprehensive benefits and weekly pay available.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
