Job Summary
Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend products to exceed expectations while maintaining assigned areas as clean, shoppable, and safe. Process transactions at checkout, handle refunds and exchanges, and stock, tag, and display merchandise. Create price tags, answer telephone inquiries, and work in cooperation with management to achieve sales goals in a fast-paced environment. This role supports Floor & Decor's mission as a leading flooring retailer with in-stock tile, wood, stone, and accessories. Full-time and part-time positions are available nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert 20-30 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test
