Job Summary
Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend products to exceed expectations. Maintain assigned areas by stocking, tagging, and displaying merchandise while keeping sales departments clean and safe. Process transactions at checkout using the POS system, handle refunds and exchanges, and create price tags. Act in cooperation with the team to achieve sales goals and answer telephone inquiries. Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy, occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
