Job Summary
Conduct front-end cashier duties, including scanning merchandise, weighing products, and verifying cart contents against purchases. Rotate through sales floor roles stocking Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods departments while maintaining FIFO rotation and managing inventory levels. Ensure customer service excellence by assisting shoppers, handling special store events, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Perform store opening and closing functions, manage price changes, and participate in cycle counts as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must be able to perform physical activities including standing continuously, walking continuously, lifting 1-10 lbs continuously, carrying 1-10 lbs continuously, pushing/pulling frequently, climbing/balancing frequently, stooping/squatting frequently, kneeling frequently, bending frequently, reaching above shoulder frequently, twisting frequently, grasping objects continuously, manipulating objects continuously, and manual dexterity frequently
- Must be able to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Cash handling experience
- Proficiency in utilizing general office equipment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
