Job Summary
Greet customers in person and on the phone, processing sales, loans, and extensions for pawn items including jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and firearms. Provide a friendly, courteous environment while adhering to all company policies and regulations. Perform opening and closing store duties and maintain knowledge of commonly pawned items. This role offers competitive pay from $15 to $16 per hour with uncapped bonus potential, a 5-week paid training program, and a path to promotion to Lead Pawnbroker or Assistant Manager. Located at Value Pawn & Jewelry in Palm Bay, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
- Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
- Sales background, a plus
- Bilingual, a plus
