Job Summary
Greet customers in person and on the phone, process sales, loans, and extensions for pawn items including jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments, and maintain a friendly, courteous environment. Perform opening and closing store duties while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Interact with customers daily to reach mutually satisfying agreements regarding pawn items. This role offers a structured career path starting with a 5-week paid training program, with opportunities to advance to Pawnbroker, Shift Leader, and Assistant Manager positions. Competitive pay ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour based on experience, alongside uncapped bonus potential, free health insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
- Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
