Job Summary
Greet customers in person and on the phone, process sales, loans, and extensions, and facilitate mutually satisfying agreements regarding pawn items like jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment while managing opening and closing store duties. Interact with clients daily to build relationships and ensure service excellence. This role offers a structured career path starting with a 5-week paid training program, with opportunities to advance to Lead Pawnbroker and Assistant Manager positions. Competitive pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, with uncapped bonus potential and free health insurance available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
- Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
- Sales background, a plus
