Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate / Pawnbroker role providing customer service and sales in pawn items (jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, tools) with responsibilities including greeting customers, handling sales, loans and extensions, and maintaining a friendly, courteous environment. The role includes a structured 5-week paid training program with potential for raises, certification pathways to Pawnbroker and Lead Pawnbroker, and opportunities to promote to Store Manager in Training. Emphasis on relationship building, multitasking, meeting performance goals, and adherence to company policies; beneficial to have knowledge of pawned items and bilingual abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask
- Pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items a plus
- Sales background a plus
- Bilingual a plus
