Job Summary
Greet customers, process transactions using the cash register, and handle payments while maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise, monitor fuel pumps, and assist customers as needed. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally while following safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products. Work a flexible schedule from Sunday through Saturday, including opening and closing the store, and adapt to varying temperatures for outdoor and indoor duties. Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers.
- Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively.
- Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services.
- Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations.
- Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday.
- Availability to open and close the store as needed.
- Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers.
- Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties.
