Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Cox Communications responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include explaining and demonstrating product capabilities, meeting sales/retention targets, assisting with opening/closing of the store, cash handling, participating in workshops/events/product demos, supporting fellow sales agents, and staying current on Cox products and competitive offerings. Requires flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays and mobility within the store; HS diploma or equivalent and strong interpersonal/communication skills are preferred. May be required to work at other locations within the same geographical area. This role offers a base hourly rate with targeted monthly commissions and a path to additional compensation, with total compensation potential around $49,668 annually and higher for top performers.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Mobility within the store for long periods
- Computer literacy for product/services
