Job Summary
Ensure exceptional in-store experiences by answering customer questions, making product recommendations, and managing checkout transactions efficiently. Maintain visual merchandising and safety standards while retrieving and restocking merchandise from the sales floor and inventory locations. Process all required cash register activities, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections, to contribute to store profitability. Handle incoming and outgoing product flow accurately. Perform duties in an active environment requiring physical movement and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Work a flexible retail schedule that changes seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place with exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
