Job Summary
Greet customers upon entry and manage Point of Sale login IDs while verifying cash and product floats at shift start and end. Create an educational experience by recommending cannabis flower, seeds, and accessories, and ID customers per the Cannabis Retail Store Handbook. Assist the Store Manager with opening and closing procedures, perform general housekeeping including sweeping and wiping displays, and report suspicious behaviors or abusive customers. Obtain CannaSell SK certification and provide a clean criminal background check; First Aid certification is an asset. Work any shift Monday through Sunday, including nights, holidays, and weekends, adhering to High Tide's standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain CannaSell SK certification
- Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Experience in sales and customer service preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
- Passion and excitement for cannabis and all of its derivatives
- Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advice
