Job Summary
Greet customers, discuss merchandise requirements, and adapt communication styles to deliver information effectively. Maintain high product knowledge, replace stock, rotate inventory, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels while assisting with display and merchandising activities. Prepare products for purchase, take orders, and ensure accuracy in all transactions and procedures. Calm irate customers by explaining situations and resolving issues to satisfaction. Answer internal and external phone calls, transfer calls to the appropriate person or Store Manager, and uphold health, safety, and security regulations. Adhere to all company policies and procedures as directed by management. Work in partnership with the team to maximize store sales and in-store presence. Available to work any shift depending on store operations, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification - CannSell License
- Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
- Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required
- Must have knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
- Must be available for shift work according to business needs, Monday to Sunday
- Must be available for nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
Desired Qualifications
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Attention to detail
- Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advice
