Job Summary
Greet customers, discuss merchandise requirements, and take orders while maintaining product knowledge and professional communication. Manage stock by replacing used items, rotating current inventory, and ensuring accurate levels. Uphold store conditions, adhere to health and safety regulations, and assist with display and general maintenance. Resolve customer issues tactfully to ensure satisfaction and maximize in-store sales through teamwork. Answer internal and external phone calls and transfer them appropriately. Work any shift, including nights, holidays, and weekends, to support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification - CannSell License
- Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
- Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required
- Must have knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
- Must be available for shift work according to business needs, Monday to Sunday
- Must be available for nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Attention to detail
- Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advice
Desired Qualifications
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
