Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate for Bikes & Fitness at Dick's Sporting Goods in Orland Park, IL. Greet customers and proactively assess their needs to support their shopping experience, leveraging in-depth product knowledge. Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, follow floor-set and pricing guidelines, promote programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment, and adhere to safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures. Foster an inclusive store environment and support the team across the store. Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).
